How much energy does Kore produce per year?

Through the construction and operations of its large-scale battery cell manufacturing facility in the U.S., KORE is positioned to operate at 12 GWh per year capacity. The facility (the “KOREPlex”) will operate with net-zero carbon emissions through strategic partnerships and solar and storage co-generation.

Why is Kore a good idea?

Not only does this project reduce the risk of forest fires and provide carbon-free hydrogen, but it also offers employment opportunities to an underserved rural community. The hydrogen produced by Kore will be sold to Toyota Tsusho to power industrial vehicles like forklifts for its operations at the Port of Los Angeles.
